Stiff, coarse, synthetic bristle for use on rough surfaces with adverse dry, wet, oily, or greasy conditions. It’s an excellent brush for parking lots, driveways, and sidewalks. It can be used to scrub large areas and is great for sweeping extra heavy refuse.

Just ordered replacements, for my 20 year old semi home use brush head. The coarse 2176-B, has been a blessing for all those years. It has made fast work of parking lot gravel and sand, and cleared our driveways of spring debris all those years. It has what’s commonly referred to as a concrete work head design, the center is hollow. With no bristles in the center to pack up with debris, it makes sweeping a dream. One use I have found uncommon is, the use of this head to pull heavy snow off of vehicles in the winter. Keep the handle high, gently lay the head on the surface and pull. Have used it this way for 20 plus years with no scratching, just snow on the ground. The head works awesome for light snows, at 29in width it makes fast work between snow falls, or light snows. Just tap it on the ground and it self clears remarkably, keeping the brush light. It is hollow, having a ring of several layers deep bristles. Very light to use.
